2024年9月 「国際XAFSデータベースポータル」の正式運用開始について
日本XAFS研究会では,XAFSデータベースの構築とその利便性の向上を進めており,この度「国際XAFSデータベースポータル」の正式運用を研究会の以下のサイトで開始いたしました.
国際XAFSデータベースポータル(https://ixdb.jxafs.org/)
国内の放射光施設と関連の6機関と共同で立ち上げた物質・材料研究機構(NIMS)のMaterials Data Repository(MDR) XAFS DBに加え,EUのSSHADE/FAME DBと米国のXASLIBに収録された合計3056スペクトル(62元素,116吸収端)が横断検索できるようになりました.今後,更に対象データベースを拡大していく予定です.
是非皆様のご研究にご活用ください.
2024年6月 「国際XAFSデータベースポータル」の運用開始について

国際XAFSデータベースポータルサイト(https://materiage.org/xafs/)上記URLに更新されました.
国内の放射光施設と関連の6機関と共同で立ち上げた物質・材料研究機構(NIMS)のMaterials Data Repository(MDR) XAFS DBに加え,EUのSSHADE/FAME DBと米国のXASLIBに収録された合計3056スペクトル(62元素,116吸収端)が横断検索できるようになりました.
上記のポータルサイトはベータ版ですが,現在日本XAFS研究会のサーバーへの移行作業を進めております.移行完了後はURLが変更となる見込みですが,リダイレクトを設定し,リンク切れがないように配慮いたします.ぜひ今から皆様のご研究にご活用ください.
2022年12月 メタデータ草案
XAFS 研究会では XAFS データベース化に向けた取り組みを進めており,すでに国内の多くの放射光施設で測定された標準試料のスペクトルが物質・材料研究機構(NIMS)の Materials Data Repository に登録されています.
現在,XAFS 研究会のデータベースグループではメタデータの取り扱い,定義について,放射光学会データ構造化諮問委員会とも連携して,検討を進めており,ここに XAFS メタデータの試案を公開します.今後は,標準試料だけでなく,放射光施設,利用者の同意のもと,実試料測定データの集積を想定しています.ついては,広く XAFS 利用者のみなさまにメタデータ形式に関する意見を募集いたします.メタデータとして追加したほうがよいと思われる項目,その他気になる点なら何でもご意見いただけますと幸いです.

XAFS データベースフォーラム(GitHub)
XAFS データベースのメタデータ部分をはじめとして,ユーザーからの意見を話し合う場所として GitHub Discussions に XAFS データベースフォーラム を開設しました。本フォーラムは,各項目について議論により方向性が定められるか,それとも意見が発散してしまい一本化できないかを見定めようという観点もあります。ぜひ,皆様から意見を寄せていただき議論を進めていければと思います,ご協力をよろしくお願いします。
2022年3月 XAFS DB Workshop のまとめ
マテリアルズ・インフォマティクス (MI) の活用あるいは信頼できる参照データなどを志向した XAFS スペクトルのデータベース化に対する関心が高まっています.
国内では北海道大学で先行しており,北海道大学朝倉・KEK 木村らが中心となり,第1回 XAFS Database Workshop(2018.9.5, 第18回 XAFS 討論会後)を開催し,その後10回にわたり議論を深めてきました。議論に基づき,NIMS のデータベースを活用して各放射光施設で収集したデータの公開が徐々に始まっています。日本 XAFS 研究会でも XAFS データベース WG を立ち上げ,議論を進めています。
MI を活用した材料研究に貢献していくためには,各放射光施設で計測されるデータを広く集めデータベースとしての価値を高めていくことが必要です。そのためには,ユーザの協力が不可欠であり,積極的な測定データの提供・公開を進めていく意識改革と具体的な環境整備が重要です。
XAFS データベース WG では,データベースの構築,活用を具体的に進めていく上で検討すべき課題や要望について広くユーザーの意見を集め議論する活動を進めていきます。ユーザー・施設関係者を含めた WG での議論の内容は本サイトで情報共有し,ユーザーの課題や懸念を解消し,XAFS データベース活動の発展につなげていきたいと考えております。皆様の積極的なご参加・ご協力をよろしくお願いします。
